Daily Tip:
Christmas
12.21.04 (3:45 am)   [edit]

Well, Christmas will be here in a few days. It is very exciting.

Get to go shopping (agian) tomorrow for Kel's Chrissy present. I hope she likes it. Good luck with all your christmas shopping - even though I am sure yoiu are all finished.

Leith is cooking kel and me dinner on Thursday night. Good stuff. The reason this is because almost every Sabbath this past semester Kel and co. have helped make a good sabbath luncheon (when there hasn't been a luncheon on at the church) which Leith has enjoyed tons. So now it is his turn. I love the fact that I havn'e even been here for any of these famed luncheons and now Leith is cooking for me too. Wonderful. <insert evil laugh here>.

Oh, and Kel and I were just browsing at the ABC and the shop guy (who we have become friends with) offered us a day's work in January to do the stocktake. We can work together in a pair and we get goodish money. Man, it is good. God does provide, doesn't he? :)

Finally went further than the SAN pool today. I went for a walk/jog/run today and it was fanastic. Man, I think I have been coped up watching movies far too much lately.

More stuff is coming together for STORMCO. It is excellent. Man, I am loving these holidays. Maybe it is because they will be over soon. I mean, I will have to start getting up at a normal time when I am at mygrandma's. No more night life for me. And then we I get back from QLD I have to start looking for work. Nursing homes here i come. Or bascially any place taht would have me.

Kel reckons I am turning into a bit of a Taylor - tonight at tea in the care I did air guitar and embarressed her tons. And the cafe wasn't even full. Dude, it was fun. She should take it as a compliment b/c it just means I am fully comfortable to be silly and stupid. I have also taken up swaying to music and singing music randomly - like Taylor. I think I am starting to scare her - <insert evil laugh - my plan is working>.

Hope ya r having a fanastic holiday

Hey everyone
12.19.04 (4:49 am)   [edit]

Well, I am loving being on holidays. It is fanastic. Kel and I are busy getting ready for Christmas. :D

Christmas is going to be fun. There is going to be this great service at Chruch, then we are having afternoon tea (we are arranging this) with fellow nursing students, then we are having a big dinner at Yolanda's place. Madness!!! :)

We went shopping today and enjoyed being part of the last minute crowd. and there is even still more to get. :)

I have been shopping, watching movies, staying up late, sleeping in etc. I have loved it. And I think that the fact that my hols will be over soon makes me appreciate this hol even more. I think it has been my first holiday where I haven't been living out of a suitcase. :)

There is so much to organise this for this coming year - Stormco, travelling interstate a couple of times, family visiting, getting work etc. Man, but I don't think I would want it any other way. :D

But it does feel kinda isolated more than normal here. And I can't even escape to Avondale too. Everyone tends to be either in places that don't get resiption or in a different country. Dude!!

Well, hope you are having a nice break,

Miss ya,

Sharona

New Blogs
12.16.04 (5:22 pm)   [edit]

Ok, well Taylor started up a blog and I wanted to comment but I couldn't out how to post anonymous comments (yes, enjoy laughing) so I created another blogsite. I will still use this one for telling you everything that is up in my life but the other one will be for songs, poems, forwards, jokes etc. The blogsite is

http://bluenurse1.blogspot.com/2004_12_01_bluenurse1 _archive.html" title="http://bluenurse1.blogspot.com/2004_12_01_bluenurse1 _archive.html" target="_blank"http://bluenurse1.blogspot.co...

But if the that doesn't work just follow the links on the side of this blog.

Enjoy

Bye Melbourne
12.12.04 (2:01 pm)   [edit]

Hey all,

Well I fly back to Syd today. It has been great in mel but I kinda do miss the san. Insane, I know. But true. I want my room. Gypsie life is not for me I dont' think. :)

Today is going to be a super long day. Basically because I was ignorant of where Avalon airport was when I booked my tickets. I have tons of friends who could have taken me to the other airport but not to Avalon airport. it is basically a 4hr return trip for a family. That is terrible. So I am catching the train to Spencer and there is a bus from there to the airport. This is fine, even though I ahven't done it before. Nothing much can go wrong, can it? (Ok, Shaz, shut up now, you don't want to tempt fate now do you?) Ok, now because everyone in Bon's famly is working to lateish and my other friends are either carless or working I then got up at 6:30am this morning to go into the city with Bon. She starts hairdressing college at 9 so she has to be up by then. Now, since she has already done my hair this trip I am bumming around int eh city - for around 8hrs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT THE HELL???!!!!!

NEVER BOOK A FLIGHT TO MEL AT AVALON AIRPORT!!!!!!!!

So I am checking emails, msning people, calling people about things I have organise and reading. The master Brandon thought it would be cool for a call this afternoon. That is geuis thinking - I will talk to him for a couple of hours and then Becky, Kristin and Chris for a couple of hours. How cool is that? :) I can kill majority of the afternoon with that. Good thinking, Brandon.

Anyway, got to go and kill time. Any ideas on how to do that? Gun, knife, pills? Do u think I could make it look like suicide? Mmmmm, I will have to think about that one?

Melbourne rocks
12.07.04 (12:44 pm)   [edit]

Howdy all,

Well, I am in Melbourne catching up with friends from highschool etc. It is great. I feel like a gypsie a bit - b/c I am moving from house to hourse catching up with friends and socialising and haviing no commitments. It is great.

I have been sleeping a lot too. It has been great. Every time I think I have caught up on all the sleep missed out from the past semester, I amaze myself by sleeping in till after lunch. Man, I didn't realise I had been running myself so much this year.

Some highlights from Mel:

- Bon did foils in my hair for super super cheap. Excellent. They are very natural lookiing and are a ligher blonde so my hair looks fresher etc. Bon also did it for an assessment which she passed and everything. All the hairdressers were saying I had very good hair to do foils and assessements  - I think it is because I didn't have anything in it - no product etc. My hair was starting to blush by the end of it all :)

- Kelly Price got the Avondale scholarship. Excellent. She deserved it so  much. Madness. Don't know if she will take it for this year or defer it for the next year. She is hoping to go to India and teach Bible and English maybe. But as she says: she will go where God leads her :)

- Closing Exercises (Grad at Lilydale). It was like a mini reunion of my class. There were 2 people from different social groups who did year 12 over 2 yrs so there were differnt social groups there to support them. Some people came from interstate e.g. South Australia and NSW. Good on them :)

-having so many people come up to me and say something about my blog. I mean, they either really liked it or were sorry but they hadn't had time to check it out or soemthing. Anyway, I am glad that people check it out. Thank you :)

- getting to go shopping for cheap clothes and cheap DVDs. I forgot how much fun shopping can be. Haven't done that in ages. Only really been  shoopping for grogerices etc.

- getting to show photos of Avondale and actually realise how totally wonderful my friends are - both at Lilydale and Avondale.

- Chris going to USA. He leave a day after I arrived in Mel. Poor bugger is going to meet Kristin's mum and dad and  brother and extended family. I hope he can handle USA for a month. That is insane.

- Becky going back to USA. That is not a good highlight and it happened the day I came down here. :( But we reckon it would be great if she came back for the 2006 grad b/c so many of our friends are graduating then. And then a group of us (Brandon, Becky, Taylor, Casey, kelly and myself) may travel around the world - going to US, London etc. Sort of like a grad present to ourselves. Cause it will be the last time really that we are all togerther again - at least for a while. We will have to see, I guess. Some of us are pretty serious about it yet money may be a problem for others. We will just have to see.

And taht is basically it, at the moment, at lease. Today Bon has taken a day off school and apart from running errors for some of the day and hopefully talking to Brandon we will be watching movies most of the day. Good stuff.

Catch ya later,

Sharona
